Neuroimaging AI

We engage in research aimed at advancing Neuroscience and developing
clinic support tools through the integration of data science and artificial intelligence technology.

Our primary focus involves the development and application
of cutting-edge data scientific techniques, leveraging brain imaging modalities such as MRI, fMRI, PET. We aim to understand and interpret complex neuronal systems and facilitate the development of biomarkers.

Glymphatic system

The glymphatic (glia+lymphatic) system, serving as a brain waste management system, has attracted significant research attention. It is increasingly recognized as a promising therapeutic avenue for diverse neurodegenerative diseases linked to the buildup of misfolded proteins in the brain.

Our research focuses on investigating the mechanisms and intervention strategies of the glymphatic system in both human and animal subjects.

Neural data analysis

We analyze diverse neural data (including electrophysiology, electrochemistry, calcium imaging, etc.) obtained from animals such as rodents, non-human primates, and pigs, as well as from humans, to study brain function and neurological diseases. Additionally, we develop various data analysis techniques applicable to neural data.
